New Season! New Curses! This year I’ll keep better track of the Curse Wheel’s design just so make sure double entries aren’t miscounted.

If this is your first time here, I’ll be posting season-long stats in this sticky. But for now, this is what I got:

Slot Spun Result

This season I’ll track which slot appears more often, especially since there are some repeats and special slots which may change over the season. (“X” = “Custom”)

114876512101116 6 641091323X
110010011011010001

The “X” slot means:

  • Week 1-5: “Spin Again”
  • Week 6-7: “Dodgers”

Curse Results

This section keeps track of how many actual cursed teams gets picked and whether it was or wasn’t a successful curse. (successes ✅, fails ❌, and totals 📊)

✅0001000000000010
❌1000001001110000
📊1001011001110010

Remember, this is all in good fun! In any case, who knows how any of this works? The Curse Wheel works in mysterious ways…

I am absolutely convinced if the 49ers lose in week 5 to the Seattle Seahawks, that the Curse wheel has now been 100% correct the”immediate following week”. When we look at the wheel not firmly deciding between (Devil Magic) Cheifs and the Jaguars loss (to the wheel’s beloved Broncos) we can see the wheel struggling to decide between an exciting close game and choosing a team over the Broncos. The dislodge extention of the spin to fully commit to the Eagles did in fact result in their week 3 loss. Techincally the curse wheel has been 100% correct… only that it is predicting a week ahead of time. My hope is the 49ers do lose and my theory is proven correct. Fingers crossed 🤞

I didn’t consider the Curse might have a lag, so I’ll keep that in mind. That said, the 49ers definitely did win Week 5. I’m personally convinced that somehow Perna switched it to the Bless Wheel without telling anyone.
